We started housesitting in 2022. It empowers us to travel in comfort, work remotely and spend time with adorable pets. Oh and did I mention it's one of the lowest cost ways to live? In 2024, we did over 200 nights at housesits, and our accommodation and bills combined worked out at less than £1 a night for those days.

We’d never heard of people doing house and pet sitting full time when we started but now we’ve made connections with people doing it all over the world. It’s a great way to travel on a budget whilst we work remotely. Housesitting has allowed us to reconnect with animals and nature, travel slower and with more of a purpose.
